That's the hard part done

We're analysing your transactions to find your work-day food & travel spending. This takes a little while.

📲

We'll email you when step 2 is ready — usually within the hour. You can close this page.

Before we match your spending

One quick thing, so we tie the right purchases to the right journeys.

Do you ever work weekends?

If you don't work weekends, we won't treat any Saturday or Sunday purchases as work journeys — so nothing gets claimed by mistake.

Here's what your bank told us

Why the next bit matters: HMRC only refunds expenses tied to a work journey. Next we'll learn the places you travel to and when — then match each purchase to a journey for you.

Expenses claim declaration

Please read and sign. This is the declaration HMRC expects on an expenses claim.

I, the undersigned, confirm that my claim for travel and subsistence expenses complies with the relevant guidelines set out by HMRC. I understand that in order for these expenses to qualify, they must meet the following criteria:

1. Wholly, Exclusively & Necessarily for Business — incurred solely for business and necessary to carry out my duties; no personal spend included.
2. Qualifying Travel — journeys to a temporary workplace; ordinary commuting between home and a permanent workplace does not qualify.
3. Subsistence Expenses — reasonable meal/accommodation costs incurred during business travel, not of a personal nature.
4. Temporary Workplace Rules — attendance for limited duration/particular task; a workplace exceeding 24 months is treated as permanent and does not qualify.
5. Retention of Records — I'll keep records and receipts to substantiate the expenses claimed.
6. Reasonableness & Compliance — the costs are reasonable and my claim may be audited by HMRC.

By signing, I acknowledge I may be required to provide evidence to support my claim, and that failure to comply or provide evidence may result in disallowance and further HMRC inquiries.
